“All of the coaches are amazing. Definitely worth the long drive!”

“My kids have done every camp out there- I have never seen the drills you ran, anywhere else. It was challenging, and so fun!”

“I asked my Mite where he learned to take a face off like that – he said, Mark Messier!”

Following a successful professional playing career of his own, Doug began a coaching legacy that would last a lifetime. Through prep school, junior, and professional ranks, he maintained an emphasis on skill development and the importance of character, while helping countless players reach the next level, something he took immense pride in. Founding the Messier International Hockey School in the mid 1960’s, Doug offered kids around North America a chance to learn from the best. Today, he continues to be heavily involved in the progress of MIHS serving as our President. We are proud to carry on his legacy and uphold the pillars on which MIHS was built.
